Starting over again..

I'm back! I sure have missed everyone! A lot has happened (which is why I had a hard time blogging) and I have much to share with you.

Note: I had second thoughts if I'll post this or not. I don't want you guys to think that I am being boastful about my body change, or I'm just showing this because of the product that I'm selling. But no. I just want to share this to remind myself from what/who I used to be. This is a part of my past that I will never forget, and I don't like to forget.

As you guys know, I am in a journey where I try to live a healthier life. (If you haven't read my first post about this, just click here!)

However, while I was gone I had ups and downs. But I'm restarting my journey now, and I would like to share you guys how I was able to get back on track.

I know I am not within my goal yet to provide any kind of tips, but I kind of feel like I am an expert about this since I've gone off track and got back on again multiple times.

Some of you may think that I'm a loser. But falling down doesn't make me a failure. I'am just a human, and I am sure we can all relate to having an off week, or month or sometimes a bit longer than that. If you've been through this, congrats! You're also a human. Don't worry how many times you've fallen, it's getting back up again that matters.

It isn’t always that easy, I still struggle just like the rest of you do. But what I always try to keep in mind is that I've done it before and I can do it again! Throughout this journey I've learned that every time I fail, I learn how to control my cravings, how to motivate myself, etc. This is how I am getting myself back on track.

Style is knowing who you are, what you want to say, and not giving a damn - Orson Welles

I choose my outfits based on the season, the weather and especially my mood. I am actually inspired by the people who are fashion bloggers with different identities. I like the fact that each and everyone of them have their own style. Before whenever I see people who wears "out of this world" clothes I would judge them but when I started to like dressing up, I now appreciate any kind of style a person has. After all if we would all have the same style our world will be just "normal" or "boring" and of course we wouldn't want that, right?

I know am not a psychologist or a fashion guru but I do know that whatever makes you feel happy, sexy and comfortable are major roles in achieving great style. So here are my OOTD's while I was
away. I hope you like it guys! :)

I'll never be the same, I am forever changed. (04/20/2014)

 Oh happy day, happy day
You washed my sin away
Oh happy day, happy day
I'll never be the same
Forever I am changed.

This will be my first outfit of the day post since the last time I blogged, forgive me for my absence but I really had a rough days last year but don't worry because I am back though I won't be on everyday I will try my best to blog and give you guys a worth reading posts as much as I can, so anyways stop with the chit-chats and on to my outfit post!

Went to The Feast PICC with my parents and my boyfriend today but too bad we didn't know that they have a Grand feast at SM MOA. Though we still managed to attend the mass at The Feast Taytay :) I actually wanted to do a summer outfit post but at the same time formal, so this mini floral dress is the only comfy outfit that I can find. Yes I am actually wearing a dress but since I am super tall it looked like a long blouse on me. But i think I still pulled it off right? I was supposed to wear sandals but my last pair of sandals gave up on me so I don't have a choice to wear my black jelly shoes.

Anyway, I'll end this post now because I still have some events to attend to. Take care y'all.
Keep on smiling,xx

I may not be there yet, but I am closer than I was yesterday. (My weight loss journey)

It's been a long time since my last post, and I am glad to be back! And I am here to share with you my unexpectedly amazing journey while I was gone. :)

THE FIRST STEP YOU NEED TO DO IS TO ACCEPT AND LOVE YOURSELF, AND EVERYTHING ELSE WILL FOLLOW.

If you don't love yourself now, how can you say that you will love yourself in the future? Stop hating yourself and just decide to live a life of acceptance. If you're ready to live this kind of life you can now begin your journey to a lasting healthy relationship with yourself and your body

Weight has always been a big problem to me. I've been big (tall, wide and huge) ever since I was a kid. I can't really remember a time that I wasn't overweight. Though I never had a problem with that because I am not the type of person who hates herself because of the way she look. I actually love myself even if my friends called me names. And maybe because I love myself, I finally realized that I needed to treat my body right.

Last year (2013) I stepped on a scale and read the biggest number I had ever seen: 268 LBS. I never thought that I can be big like that. So I decided to lose some weight.

(You can even check my old posts for more pictures haha)

And yes, I did lose some weight in an unhealthy way because of fad diets. And because I lacked motivation and inspiration I started not to eat right again and stopped exercising and immediately went back to my old weight (or even more).

You see, I had a lot of minor attempts to lose weight, but slowly I started making changes in my life. I learned how to do calorie counting and started working out and doing cardio (zumba) thrice a week. I also applied healthy eating like cutting way back on eating fast food, fried and foods that are high in calories and added more fruits, veggies, lean protein and good fats. I also learned that it's not good to deprived yourself, you can actually eat anything you want as long as you have moderation. So sometimes I also eat unhealthy foods (hehe) Hey! You only live once right? So might as well enjoy it!

So here is my updated picture now:

I am currently 170 lbs and still on my way to my goal weight! I know it may seem impossible but nothing worth it ever comes easy right? So if you just stay positive and focus on your goal nothing will ever be impossible. It's amazing whenever I look back on my old pictures or my journey itself, it was one hell of a ride. But if I can do it, I am very much sure you can too!

Height: 5'9
Highest Weight: 268
Current Weight: 170
Goal Weight: 140lbs

Virgin Coconut Oil: Touched for the very first time! (Toner, Moisturizer, Hair Conditioner, Make Up Remover)

Hi you guys! This has been on my drafts for a very long time, but anyway If you're following me on twitter you already know that I have been dying to make a review about Virgin Coconut oil! So let's start shall we?

I am really desperate to remove these disgusting skin and hair problems, so I did a research again after my dad told me about Virgin Coconut Oil. Just so you know, every time I put beauty review or beauty post here on my blog I always do a research first and try it on my own so I can suggest it to you guys.

Benefits of Virgin Coconut Oil for Hair
*For people who wanted to make their hair grow longer and thicker, it helps to keep the hair moisturized and their hair strand strong preventing hair from breakage and allow it to grow shinier and thicker without looking damaged.
*It can also be used as a very effective hair conditioner treatment to be damage- free.
* Help stimulate proper circulation and keep the scalp moisturized when perfroming scalp massage. It can also help hair get rid from dandruff.
*A recent study shown that with the regular use of virgin coconut oil, it will keep the scalp free from lice and lice eggs.

Benefits of Virgin Coconut Oil for Skin
* VCO can be used as a massage oil on skin for the relief of stress.
* Coconut oil can indeed help protect the skin from aging because it is a steady saturated fat that can't be broken down by free radicals.
* Also prevents stretch mark, coconut oil is commonly used to prevent stretch marks especially during pregnancy.
* VCO can also be used as your skin moisturiz as it is the key to keeping it youthful and healthy. It also helps fight bacteria and other skin problems such as rashes, acne, wrinkles, eczema, dermatitis, and psoriasis.

-Virgin Coconut oil is naturally high in lauric acid which is well known to have a positive effect for the health and for being very anti-microbial, anti-fungal and anti-viral. If applied directly to the skin, it will help to prevent bacterial infections (ACNE) and may control itching from dandruff.

- Coconut Oil is also well know as a "cooling oil" which is great for inflamed skin. Well my face is not inflamed or hot but it would definitely help me since our country is a tropical country so using this to help my skin cool down is a good thing.

- It is generally considered as safe because it doesn't have any side effect.

- You can use it in a lot of ways! (Moisturizer, Toner, Hair Conditioner and Make up Remover!)

How to use it on Face:
*Rinse your face with lukewarm water or tepid water to open your pores, because you would want the vitamins to get into your pores and push out the toxins or dirt!
*Have a small cotton (or you can use your fingertips if you want to) and put a small amount of Virgin coconut oil and and gently massage it on your face in circular motion. You can leave it for just 5-10 minutes but I leave it on overnight, your choice.
*I also use this to remove my make up and it's really helpful! <3

How to use it on Hair:
*Have a small amount of VCO on your palm, rub it and massage it on your scalp. When your scalp is covered with VCO already, leave it on overnight and wash it the next day.

OVERALL: I love this at home remedy because after 1 week of continuously using this product my skin is still somehow not free from rashes, bumps, acne etc but you can see results already and my face has always been soft and smooth, while my scalp stops itching and flaking too! Maybe after another week my pimples will be completely gone!

Have you ever tried using virgin coconut oil? Comment down below!
